Let's Play Gor

Let us just assume for a moment that IRC Killing is universally accepted on IRC Gor, because it happened in the books, then it must be accepted here, right? Let's not limit it, then, to only kills by assassins. After all, as we read these novels, we find that kills by warriors are far more common than assassinations. Let's make kills by warriors also acceptable, shall we? Thinking along these lines, should we also not accept the capture and enslavement of unveiled, and unescorted freewomen? How about a free for all for uncollared slaves? This is Gor, after all, so why just stop at killing? Let's play Gor to the fullest extent possible! We can set the rules for the capture of freewomen and slaves, since the rules for killing are already laid out.

Here are a few ideas concerning the capture of freewomen and uncollared slaves:

To be captured, a freewoman must enter a channel alone, or she must forget to mention her robes and veils as she enters.

No popups or macros can be used to capture a freewoman or uncollared slave.

To capture, the victim must be approached, and the intent to capture made known in the first line. This will give the opportunity for the victim to flee the channel.

The victim must be told that they are going to captured: "I have come to capture you"

The third and final line of the capture must include the "clicking" of the collars lock, before the victim runs from the channel.

Newly captured slaves should be banned from any channels they might try to enter without their collars.

Logs are encouraged, as disputes will undoubtedly arise here.

I know this is a rough draft, and could probably use some refinement, but the idea, I think, if we are going to play Gor, is a sound one. We might even consider forming a "Capture Commitee" to keep records, and settle disputes, such as who got their collar on the woman's neck first, or if the woman made it out of the channel before the clicking of the lock.
