A Slave's Thought By sandra{MD}

     We hear over and over again that the sole purpose of a slavegirl is to be pleasing. That she is worth less than most mammals and that her task is so simple that it is hard to fathom that one could fail at such an easy assignment. After all, how difficult can the giving of one's self be? How hard is it to find that which is pleasing to each and every individual Free Person while managing to attain the level of perfection expected? What is "pleasing" anyway? A great and wise member of the Caste of Scribes, Master Daniel of the House of Webster, once put it best when he defined the word please as... "will or desire of. To be willing to; be so obliging as to. To give satisfaction, or pleasure; be agreeable".

So....go forth, sisters and be pleasing!!!!

     What is that? (set mode +Ferris Bueller double take here) How? Well, you know...write pretty words, wiggle those hips...paga in bowls, blackwine in mugs. No, merrie, larma is not like an antelope; and sasha, you don't put sugar in sul-paga. (of course a little blackwine and bosk milk added might be aptly named a White Tuchuk.) But really, we print all the definitions, commit every position to memory and have even tried a few, when the house was empty. Where is the diploma??? What...no diploma??? No certificate of completion? No reward?

     On IRC Gor, as in the Books, girls reaffirm their nature every time they speak or move or think. A slavegirl doesn't need to strive to be pleasing, she just IS pleasing. It comes because she was born to it...because it was always there, sometimes hiding, sometimes buried deep inside but it is as much a part of her as any life-sustaining organ in her body. A seed, if you will; that when nurtured and encouraged, rises to reveal a woman whose very existence depends on the reaffirmation of that which she is. Only a Master can bring forth the wondrous offering that makes a woman truly slave. Very few Men understand what a woman gives when she gives her soul. Less than that precious few understand what to do with it when it is given so freely. We hear so often how Gor is not about slaves. Tell a slave that and she will smile for she knows well that it isn't about self but about the serving up of herself to another. This girl believes that slavery begins in the belly, not in the mind. It moves then to the heart and grows there. It flourishes each time we are told that we have been pleasing, or by a Master's smile or nod of approval.

     In closing, Masters take on such an awesome responsibility when they collar a slave. Ask any one of the True Masters on Gor, you know who they are. They will reaffirm the difficulties of such an endeavor. Admittedly we are, by nature, "high maintenance". we wrestle with our angst to be everything that Master wants. We doubt our abilities to rise to the level worthy of His collar. We might even have a moment where we wonder if the pain of our mistakes is worth the lessons we learn from them. Gor is not for the weak of spirit but what is important is the lessons we learn when we turn away from the computer...those lessons apply to all kajira both online and in real life. Therein lies your reward, my sister. White Tuchuk, anyone?

With affection, sandra{MD} girl of Modred of the Black Caste
