A Slave's Thought By spiritlass

The Weight of the Collar

Recently this slave has been collared, and a Master asked her a most curious question. She was asked "How heavy is the collar?" Well, although a slave thought the question a bit unusual, she didn't hesitate to say, "the collar does not weigh heavy at all."

To obey the wishes, commands of one's Owner, is a joy. One that is cherished by this one. There is no weight to the collar. Nothing He can command this slave to do, would ever add weight, to please Him, to be obedient, to bring Him honor with her manner and behavior keeps the collar light. It comes naturally, readily and easily.

However, one thing this slave has learned. That others can add weight to a collar. Their selfish needs to be "queen" of an area, name calling, bashing, ad nauseam can add weight by interference, both in real life and on Gor. However, when the Master and His slave are close enough, open enough, the weight is neither felt nor acknowledged.

The gorean collar is the most precious adornment a slave can ever wear... it is yours to protect, keep it light, by being the best for your Master, slaves have only one major rule: "to be pleasing."
