A Slave's Thought By spiritlass

The True Master

This girl has been asked many times .."how does one know when she has found her "true" Master?"

It has been a hard question to ponder but now a girl wonders if it is all that hard to answer. When one finds her "true" Owner, the one who can make her, break her, teach her, and guide her .. does she not feel delight in His presence? Does she not fear His responses? Does she not ache when He is not about, or when she is unable to be with Him? Does she not suffer unmercifully, food has no use, sleep is foreign? Does she not see His image, when she peers from her kennel?? Does she not see His eyes, soft and pleasant, stern and strict? Does she not see the soft look upon His face and the heart wrenching look when she has been displeasing?

This girl thinks that is more than possible. When a Master is able to capture and leash the heart and soul of a slave, to that extent, then perhaps the slave has then found her "true" Owner. Some slaves have walls of protection built around them from past experiences.. when a Master can bypass those walls, without the slave knowing it, feeling it..then the message is clear.. the slave is His .. truly and forever.

No matter if the slave bears the collar of another .. she can still come upon the "true" Master.. the one who can really control her.. when that happens the slave is then placed in a turmoil.. but yet, she knows what she must do. To be released from One who the slave adores to beg for the collar of the one that will ultimately possess her more than He does at this time, to face the unknown and leave the comfort of what is known behind.

It is not an easy road.. but yet, it is one that has been traveled before, the path is but a worn one.. traveled by those that preceeded her and will again be traveled by those that follow behind her. Wrongs are had by slaves, we are not perfect creatures, but as slaves we will make mistakes, it is from these mistakes that we grow.

If the slave is uncollared and finds her "true" Owner..then she only needs to beg for what she desires.. but if she is collared .. then she must walk that road, that path ..feel the pain, the torture, the anguish as she finds the right words to release herself from the one who owns her at that time, with as little pain as possible. She fears hurting the one whose collar she bears.. her heart is torn as she cannot serve the one who truly owns her. She is in a difficult position ..but yet, not an impossible one. Truth and honesty, although hard at times.. is the only way.

Every slave dreams of the "true" owner..very few find Him.. for those that do be true to your heart ..you are slave.. your not whole till you bear His collar and His name.
